Shrimp, frozen in water, can be kept for about a year or longer.
Fresh crabmeat can be kept in refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Oysters can be kept in refrigerator for about a week.
Shrimp are shipped frozen in 5 lb cartons with heads off. Head on shrimp can
be shipped when requested.

To freeze crabmeat, simply place container in freezer. Some suggest covering in milk to prevent freezer burn.

When ordering shrimp, keep in mind that the numbers are how many shrimp
there are in a pound. Consider how many shrimp you think each person
would eat, then multiply that number by the number of people to be
served. Example: Party of six with each person taking approximately 12
shrimp.

A five pound box of 10/15 count shrimp should contain 60-75 shrimp. You should order 1 box. If you want to have extras order 2 boxes and use part of the second box, saving the rest for yourself.
